NEW TOOL NOT FEATURED – Check out Ventoy as it is very easy and works on any OS – https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html
DISCLAIMER: There are multiple ways to do Multiboot but I picked YUMI because I need Windows, Linux, and Utilities all within a single USB drive. Many other utilities I found just didn't accomplish this task. YUMI was the best for using both Windows and Linux based systems. I just wanted to showcase you can use some Windows tools like YUMI on Linux without issue.
can you tell me sir
what is the OS ARE YOU USING
terminal and side bar are
fantastic
does this mean to create multiple live OS on USB disk or just multi boot installer?
I can only boot windows and linux isos in legacy mode not uefi for some reason from ventoy, any idea why this is? Tried to google the problem but got no answer.
Hey Chrius can you help ? I saw that you are also using ASUS PC. So my problem is that i created an admin password for bios but i forgot. now i cannot access my bios or change bios settings. can i remove admin password ? or there is any other to change configuration of bios without entering the password.
i use easy2boot mainly because i can have >4gb files on the pendrive
i used to use YUMI a lot. it worked for most of what i needed when i needed to live boot without breaking something. then i found Ventoy, and it has been basically the same, only slightly less hassle.
Ventoy is better than this I think mr ctt
Which OS are u actually using ?🤔🤔🤔
"ventoy" is better alternative
i can say ventoo is far better and superior. thank me later
Hey! Can you tell me is there anyway to create a multiboot USB that works on Mac OSX ?
This is a great tool. But I found it more time consuming than easy to boot. It can be only in my case though.🤦♂️
I recommend you try Easy2Boot – I've been using it for over 6 years and it my feeling is that nothing else still comes close to it as far as functionality and robustness goes. There is a learning curve if you want to use all if it's advanced features but it's actually very easy to set up for basic use.
There is one problem with YUMI – you need to use fat32 partition to create multiboot USB. But if your windows 10 iso takes more than 4GB (and it does), you can't add that iso to multiboot, because fat32 is restricted by 4GB single file maximum.

Wow, this video is so far behind the times. YUMI has been around for years and it's limited to what is had on it's list (which is, admittedly, a lot) but it's got some installers that are buggy. Ventoy is, i admit, a pretty cool but it (also) has some buggy features with certain types of ISOs as well. Neither are perfect but as far as time and effort goes (even GUI) Ventoy is superior. YUMI has been building up it's inventory for a long time and really had the wind taken out of it's sails when Ventoy came along.
You can take a look at Ventoy (ventoy.net)
* Works on Linux/Windows
* Drag and drop different ISOs
* Opensource
i've been using yumi for years now, though there is a new guy in town
how about a vid comparing ventoy and yumi?
i'm trying to install WinPE 10-8 Sergei Strelec on yumi but without success , any ideas ?
hello sir, may i know what is the differences between pendrivelinux yumi vs ventoy? which one is better? sorry for this noob questions, i'm new to this. just want to make sure it can run live linux rather than installation. thank you and have a nice day. 🙂
but y would i need anything other than debian
What do you think about Ventoy.net? You install it on a flash drive and just copy the ISO onto the drive, then just boot and pick the ISO from the menu. Also you can use it as a normal flash drive too.
i recommend ventoy just install drag and drop the iso files, finish now u can boot and install your new OS
How about Ventoy?
Ventoy – just came across it
An open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files, you don't need to format the disk again and again, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it.
Both Legacy BIOS and UEFI are supported in the same way
Chris checkout Ventoy
The iso file install only 5 mb in my USB out of 4.9 gb of the windows iso. i tried yumi and woeusb both only install a few mbs on my usb. The usb is empty, i tried with NTSF and FAT32, also get this…An error (1) occured while executing syslinux. Your USB won't be bootable .
Ive been trying to fix this for the last 3 days never thought making a bootable USB on Linux would be so annoying, i hope anyone can help…sorry about my english i hope is understandable
Have you tried Ventoy? If yes why is your solution better? Thanks
The easiest way I do is to make multiple fat32 partitions on my flash drive & then flash different ISOs using unetbootin into different partitions (ex. sdc1, sdc2, sdc3, etc.)
Then you can boot into any partition in the same way as you do inside uefi boot manager (f8)
Hi is there any performance different for a HDD <= 2TB run in GPT format ?? I have 2 x 2TB Seagate HDD which i try both MBR vs GPT but fail to sense any different at all. Thanks first for the reply
nice ScreenSaver,
is that ZMatrix_NT?
this one was great when i used it on XP with code Emulating any image set as your Wallpaper,
was like a code style "Dot Stippling" effect but now it wont allow the icons and takbar up top.
if anyone knows how to mod it for recent day use,
i'd highly reccomend ZMatrix as it is open source but i'm not much of a coder

Waste of time this program do not support instalation of multiple Windows boot system.

I'm not sure to understand how you can make a usb stick bootablr for both EUFI and legacy, Yumi site say it either one or them not both
how i get gparted software?
Well this is the only program that worked for me, I needed to boot as UEFI not legacy cz my shitty laptop only wants UEFI (and there is literally nothing to do I can't boot as Legacy, I tried everything lol) E2B just can't do this even though it is better for me 🙁
Darn 2 malicious threat on VirusTotal website for that software …
Hi Chris. I regularly watch your channel. Great job!! I'm not a Linux expert though I love it and use it since Ubuntu 5 as just a desktop/laptop user ( so not a coder or hacker here…). I usually have my live USB sticks , Yumi is great, but I don't understand why when I try on a distro with persistence it's so slow, VERY SLOW. I like having my USB and use it on any computer I have to use for that day and keeping all my environment settings and wifi passwords. What can be the problem?
GREAT VIDEO! any chance you can do a video showing how to use this tool to multi boot from a hdd with multiple OS's?
I think this will help you
